We don't have these
[keer.en.er.jee] (n.), acronym for keeping it real in reference to lighting solutions.
We keep it real, in fact, it's the philosophy upon which our company was built and how we conduct business. We don't waste overhead on silly promotional tchotchkes or internal fluff. And as we are not a lighting distributor, our clients are insured they receive the right product for their application.
What we are is a turn-key lighting services company with an expertise is in energy-efficient lighting and LED technology. We work with utilities throughout the U.S. to secure rebates and incentives to offset the costs of energy-efficient lighting upgrades. We navigate our clients' way through the programs by proposing qualifying measures and facilitating the installation. All the while serving as an advocate between our customer and the participating utility provider.
Our REAL obligation is to our client, not to stockholders or the maintenance of inflated margins. We work really hard and are the most competitive in our industry.
That's how we keep it real to our consumers, a commitment that confirms an integrity behind our business.
The Back Story
Several years ago, Mike Roberts, KirEnergy founder, partnered with a group based out of Oxford, Ct and helped form a successful, energy-efficient lighting company. During this venture, he was able to do what his industry counterparts had not by clientizing some of the most well known and respected commercial entities in the world.
His approach was simple: exercise intimate knowledge of incentive programs and parlay that expertise by identifying lighting measures that would most effectively reduce energy consumption savings with a nominal capital outlay. Paramount to this concept, however, was conveying its real viability for legitimate savings to a market worn tired of conventional "retro-fitters," an enterprise that required the utmost of professionalism and willingness to do real, honest work.
His perseverance and efforts yielded results and were instrumental in transforming his company's client base and sales ideology. Before long, a Fortune 500 Company made a precedent-setting offer, making the Connecticut-based company its first ever service-based acquisition.
Soon after his company's corporate procurement, however, Mike quickly recognized the best way to stay true to his core, client- driven philosophy was to hit the restart button.
There and then, KirEnergy was born.
Under the direction of he and his team, KirEnergy proves to be the progressive, competitive company it was intended be. And with clients of the likes of CBRE, Mary Kay, International Paper, Microsoft, DPT Laboratories, and Johnson Controls , to name a few, we're quite confident our philosophy is what sets us apart from the others.
